Our Story
I’m Michael Burnett, owner of NoJo Catering. I started NoJo Catering in January 2018 because of my passion for food and cooking and love of providing great service to compliment events and special occasions.
I have had many years of experience in the hospitality industry from my first job as a silver service waiter, restaurant manager at the fantastic Marynka and front of house co-ordinator for a high-end catering company Hyndberry. During this time, I’ve been lucky enough to work with fantastic owners and chefs who have taught me so much about what makes great dishes and fantastic service.

Our Catering
My passion for food comes from many great experiences throughout Europe from Michelin star restaurants in Scotland and England, family restaurants in France and Italy. From traditional meals in Poland to ultra-modern cuisine in Slovenia. From Tapas bars in Spain to market stalls in Denmark.
My favourite dishes are where the food is not overly complicated but full of flavour and complimented by a great service and atmosphere. The social side of food where you share, taste and talk about different dishes is something I really enjoy.
I put these experiences into the dishes I make and at NoJo Catering we always strive to put that passion and enthusiasm into everything that we do. NoJo Catering is named after my two children Noal and Joseph. Family meals are most peoples first food experiences and memories and that is really important to me. My children and wife Judith have been such a great source of support and that family feel will always be a key part of NoJo Caterings offering.
